On May 13th, 2019, our owner’s sister, Joanna Haydon, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal Cancer. The rest of 2019 was very tough for her, but she kept an amazing attitude and fought so hard to get healthy with the help of Siteman Cancer Center. In January 2020, after completing 12 rounds of chemotherapy, her scans and blood work came back clear and she is currently a non-operative cancer patient showing no evidence of disease.
As a company, we have been able to support Joanna by making t-shirts for her Pedal The Cause team and creating the shirts for her first annual Brews & Blues Bar Crawl to raise money for colon cancer awareness.
To continue doing our part to create #aworldwithoutcancer we will be donating a portion of the proceeds from every order we sell to Joanna and her team, Powered by Hope, for Pedal The Cause. We are hoping that we can be a part of the movement that helps find a cure for those fighting colorectal cancer now and in the future.
